Andre 3000 Spotted at Texas Longhorns Campus: A Lone Star-Studded Surprise

AUSTIN, TX– The number one team in the country in college football has its privileges, especially the Texas Longhorns. That must have been a fantastic experience for the Texas football team! Having a rap icon, multi-Grammy award-winning member of the iconic group Outkast in Andre 3000 visit and speak to the players was incredibly inspiring. Head coach Steve Sarkisian welcomed Andre3000 (Andre Benjamin) on campus and inside his office, and Andre3000 later received a custom jersey.

It showcased that the connection between music and sports continues to impact our society phenomenally.

Andre 3000 was shown around and allowed to walk onto Campbell-Williams Field at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. He performed in Austin on Sunday night for ACL Live at the Moody Theater, with guests including Erykah Badu.

He will continue his A Myriad of Pyramid tour in Houston this week.

Texas currently sits at 4-0 on the season and prepares for SEC competition as they take on Mississippi State on Saturday AT 3:15PM CT on SEC Network.
