ANAHEIM, CA – After a tough 15 inning 7-6 loss on Friday night to the Boston Red Sox, the Angels bounced back in dominate fashion thanks to 3-run homer by Albert Pujols. Pujols now has 3,184 career hits which ties Cal Ripken Jr. for 14th all-time. It was his 20th home run of the season and joins Hank Aaron, Barry Bonds, Frank Robinson and Willie Mays as the only players with at least 17 seasons of 20 + home runs.
Pujols continues to add to his resume towards Cooperstown.
