LOS ANGELES, CA — Grammy Award winning producer and music artist Big Boi of Outkast is scheduled to headline the Major League Soccer (MLS) All-Star Game concert on August 24 at 5PM PT in Los Angeles near the L.A. Memorial Coliseum.

I am a big Atlanta United fan so I’m excited to be performing at the MLS All-Star Concert presented by Heineken in Los Angeles in a few weeks,” Big Boi said. “It’s going to be a good time and I’m pumped to share some of my new music live with my fans.”

Big Boi is one half of the iconic group Outkast with Andre3000, where the two began their career in 1994 with Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. They elevated on to becoming the first and only hip-hop artist in history to win the Grammy for “Album of the Year” upon release of the 2003 RIAA Diamond-certified Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. The group has sold over 25 million albums and won seven Grammy Awards, along with being apart of the mighty Dungeon Family that consist of many artist and producers that include Goodie Mob, Organized Noize, Slimm Calhoun, Sleepy Brown, Killer Mike, and Big Rube to name a few.

Currently Big Boi and music collaborator Sleepy Brown are preparing to release their highly anticipated album The Big SleepOver. Their current single “Lower Case (no cap) featuring Killer Mike is burning up the chart with that old school feel with a modern day twist.
