HOLLYWOOD, CA — Many executives and artist converged on the Hollywood scene for the 2022 R&B/HipHop Players List star studded event that included a concert that featured Flo Milli and City Girls and a red carpet.
Many celebs from the world of music and entertainment graced the red carpet in their best fashions of the night, that include Nick Cannon, Hit-Boy, Pusha T, Epic Records CEO Sylvia Rhone, EMPIRE CEO Ghazi, Nima, EVP of A&R EMPIRE Records Tina Davis, and the legendary Black Promoters Collective.
Multi-platinum recording artist Future opened up the program when he announced Rookie of the Year honoree, Blxst. The surprised vocalist told the crowd, “I just came back from a sold-out world tour, so to come home to this is nothing short of amazing, you feel me?” “For me, this is like a symbol of believing in yourself, trusting your heart, trusting the process.”
The other presenter of the night was Grammy Award winning artist SZA who presented the Executive of the Year Award to Amazon Music executive Tim Hinshaw.
Later in the night, FloMilli opened up the concert and hyped the crowd with her hit song Conceited as her energy on stage was absolutely amazing. The headline act City Girl rocked the crowd with some of their songs Twerkulator and Act Up to name a few.
