COSTA MESA, CA — After weeks of speculation on when exactly Joey Bosa would be present at Chargers camp, it was finally confirmed on Monday afternoon by general manager Tom Telesco that Bosa had made it to the facility.
“He was in this morning so I think we’re all good there,” Telesco said.
Last week head coach Anthony Lynn confirmed for the media that the defensive end had been working out with a personal trainer in Florida.
Bosa missed part of offseason workouts and all of training camp due to a contract dispute over offset language in his rookie deal. Once he hit the field, he made his presence known with 10 1/2 sacks in 12 games where he earned AP Defensive Rookie of the Year award. The expectations are high for Bosa coming into this season, with a nonstop motor on the field, the Chargers should be a lot more solid on defense this year with him being a major anchor.
