LOS ANGELES — Sparks superstar Candace Parker has re-signed a multi-year deal to be an analyst with Turner Sports and will be co-hosting a podcast with fellow reporter Kristen Ledlow.
Parker has done an extraordinary job as a basketball analyst for Turner Sports, during the NBA season and NCAA Tournament. Her knowledge and expertise of the game is as sharp as a ginsu. Despite being a WNBA Champion and superstar, Parker continues to build her brand greater with each step she makes. She said she has learned a great deal over the course of time, and continues to be assertive when analyzing various plays.
“It is great to be back,” Parker said. “It was a great process going through negotiations.”
Parker was in a bidding war between ESPN and Turner Sports over the last several months. She can now focus on the WNBA Playoffs with her Sparks team.
“I didn’t feel that same excitement for the tournament that I had as a player until I started covering it,” she said. “We have a great time in the studio going through the games.”
