INGLEWOOD, CA – The Los Angeles Chargers teamed up NFL Play60 and the Inglewood Police Department for a day filled with fun, drills and football play at Edward Vincent Park (Centinela Park). The event was host by former Chargers running back and NFL Hall of Famer LaDianian Tomlison, along with Chargers rookies Nas Adderley, Jerry Tillery, Dreu Tranquill, to name a few.
Tomlison spoke to the campers about the importance of physical activities for 60 minutes daily, healthy living and maintaining physical and mental wellness.
Kids were broken up into groups led by Chargers rookies, and were taught the importance of self esteem, good work ethic, throwing and catching a football and most importantly team work. The priceless smiles on the kids faces when talking with NFL players will be a memory that will last them a lifetime.
