CHICAGO, IL – Looking forward to correcting his mistake last Sunday in Tennessee where Chargers running back Melvin Gordon fumbled the ball on the goal line that ultimately gave the Titans the victory. The did not sit well with Gordon who expressed his frustration.
Much like any professional, you have to learn from it, flush it and move on. In the second quarter, quarterback Philip Rivers found Gordon for the 19-yard touchdown run, who would not be denied the end zone as he firmly kept two hands on the ball. It was the first touchdown of the season for Gordon who held out much of training camp and the regular season.
Gordon finished with 8 carries for 31 yards, as the Chargers escaped with a 17-16 victory over the Chicago Bears.
