LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Clippers won their fourth game in a row over the Philadelphia Sixers 136-130 on Sunday afternoon at Staples Center. The Sixers were without Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons due to injuries, yet the Clippers continue to be at full strength as Kawhi Leonard finished with 30 points. Paul George and Lou Williams finished with 24 points each, as Montrezl Harrell added 24 points and nine rebounds.
Shake Milton scored a career high 39 points as he confused the Clippers defense in the first half, yet was contained better in the second half. Former Clipper Tobias Harris finished with 25 points in his first game back at Staples Center.
Milton tied the most consecutive three pointers made in NBA history with 13 on Sunday. Milton truly made a name for himself in front of a national television audience and put the rest of the league on notice to respect his skill set.
Sunday afternoon also brought out stars like actor/director Ben Affleck who appeared on the court to promote his new movie that debuts Friday “The Way Back“. Also “Bad Boys 3” film star Martin Lawrence was also courtside for the Clippers-Sixers game.
Fans in attendance at Staples Center received a Paul George bobblehead courtesy of Cedar-Sinai.
