LOS ANGELES – The Clippers won consecutive games since Dec. 13, as they defeat the Detroit Pistons 126-112, despite an early exit from Paul George due to a hamstring injury.
According to Clippers head coach Doc Rivers said George would reevaluated on Friday. Six Clippers scored in double figures that included, Kawhi Leonard (18), Mo Harkless (12), Paul George (12), JayMichael Green (12), Lou Williams (22), and Montrezl Harrell (23) in the win.
Williams also revealed the details of him witnessing the birth of his son Syx (pronounced Six) in honor of him winning three straight Sixth Man of the Year Awards.
“I just wanted to do something different,” Williams explained on the thought of naming his son.
Derrick Rose finished with 14 points and six assist, Bruce Brown added 15 points in the loss for the Pistons.
Clippers face the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday afternoon at Staples Center.
