LOS ANGELES, CA – The Clippers elevated to a huge 120-99 win over the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night at Staples Center. Paul George finished with 24 points in 25 minutes, Kawhi Leonard also finished with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Lou Williams added 20 points in an outstanding second half scoring effort.
Suns center DeAndre Ayton returned from his 25 game suspension, and finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds in the loss. Ayton admitted that he was winded at times and once he got over the anxiety of his return, he found his rhythm during moments of the game.
The Clippers get a day off before their Thursday night game against the Houston Rockets at Staples Center at 7:30PM PT.
