ATLANTA, GA — CNN anchor and host of CNN Tonight Don Lemon declared via his Instagram account that he will have an announcement to make on Monday May 17th at 10PM ET/ 7PM PT regarding his future with the network.
“It’s been really, really great. This is the last night that will be CNN Tonight with Don Lemon,” he said. “So I appreciate all the years of CNN Tonight with Don Lemon, but changes are coming and I will fill you in.“
After the showed aired on Friday, many speculated on if Lemon would remain with the network after he mentioned that changes were coming. Lemon took to his social media account to explain his comments and future.
“I didn’t say I was leaving CNN, I just said it was the end of an era for CNN Tonight with Don Lemon. I’m not leaving CNN, so you will have to tune in Monday at 10 o’clock to see. That’s it. So relax. I’m not leaving.”
Lemon has been with CNN since 2006.
