THOUSAND OAKS, CA —— Aaron Donald has been the talk of the last several weeks regarding his football future. Donald stated that “he would be at peace” and appeared to be undetermined if he resumes playing with the Rams or retires from the NFL. Fellow teammate Cooper Kupp weighed in on the saga of if Donald would return or head towards retirement?

I expect him to be back, he’s so good it’s hard to imagine him not being back with us going out achieving trying to win a Super Bowl again,” Kupp said on The Dan Patrick Show. “He’s a big character that walks around our facility.”

Head coach Sean McVay said that he believes contract talks with the multi-time Defensive Player of the Year were “trending in the right direction.” McVay is confident he will return especially since McVay is getting married this coming weekend as Donald is invited to the ceremony. Donald has been via video on social media conducting off season football drills as he continues to remain in shape.

It’s hard to believe for fans and spectators, that number 99 won’t be suiting up for the Super Bowl champs in L.A. this coming season.
