Culture Creators Brunch Highlights Earn Your Leisure, Nicole Lynn, Kenny Burns, Robin Thede And More

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — The Sixth Annual Culture Creators Innovators and Leaders Awards Brunch was hosted by R&B singer Tank and Peacock’s Bel-Air star Coco Jones (Hillary), where many were honored for their contributions to the culture. The exquisite event was sponsored by Lexus, Ciroc, Morgan Stanley, Pivotal Ventures in partnership with Netflix.

The hosts of the Earn Your Leisure Podcast Troy Billings and Rashad Bilal have made a strong impact in the culture with emphasis on financial literacy and building generational wealth in our communities. The Podcast featured many guests from various backgrounds that have included Steve Harvey, Rick Ross, Dame Dash, Kenny Burns, DJ Envy, and many more disseminating information about their journeys with finances. Both Bilal and Billings have also paved a way on their platform to showcase to the public others in the field such as 19 Keys and Wall Street Trapper. Between their information on home ownership, stock information and building credit with various guest trained in those fields, Earn Your Leisure is more than just a podcast, it’s a virtual education class for many to get on the right track and be financially free with knowledge.

Klutch Sports agent and President of Football Operations Nicole Lynn discussed about the importance of having more Black women and women of color as sports agents. Lynn discussed the impact of working with Rich Paul in order to change the landscape for the better.

Robin Thede creator of the comedy series “A Black Lady Sketch Show,” on HBO was honored with Innovator Of The Year Award, as she spoke about working with Issa Rae and what she wants the audience to gain from this show.

There is no better feeling than when your work and your purpose align for the greater good of the community,” Thede said.

Other awardees include Shari Bryant, the co-president of Roc Nation, actor-activist Kendrick Sampson, entrepreneur and investor Kenny Burns was also honored. Long time music executive Antonio “L.A.” Reid was honored with the Icon Award for his contribution and leadership in music and the culture.
