NEW YORK, NY — Hip-hop emcee Rapsody (Jamla/ Roc Nation) is currently out on her interview tour promoting her upcoming project “EVE”, that drops on Friday, August 23.

While on “The Breakfast Club”, Rapsody talked about her collaboration with the legendary Queen Latifah.

“She’s bustin’ on this one,” Rapsody referred to the song collaboration. Rapsody revealed that MURS connected Shakim Compere (co-founder of Flavor Unit Entertainment) with 9th Wonder (Rapsody’s producer/ label executive), and from that meeting, the parties aligned to record.

“She’s just real down to earth and cool. We talked on the phone for about a week. She loved the record,” Rapsody explained.

The song was recorded at Queen Latifah’s home studio in Los Angeles and will be featured on Rapsody’s upcoming album.
