To honor this incredible legacy, the resort launched the “Celebrate Happy” celebration on May 16, engaging guests at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure with a festive lineup of parades, attractions, and culinary offerings extending through summer 2026.
One of the standout features at Disney California Adventure is the lively Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration! Parade. Guests are treated to a captivating showcase of beloved Pixar characters, including Luca, the crew from Up, Soul, The Incredibles, and many more, bringing family favorites to life in dazzling choreography and vibrant floats.
Disneyland showcases its rich history and joyful spirit with the Tapestry of Happiness. This animated mosaic art installation beautifully weaves memories, attractions, and moments that define Disneyland’s legacy. Inspired by the legendary Disney artist Mary Blair, the mosaic is complemented by the original 70th celebration theme song “Celebrate Happy” and nostalgic nods to iconic tunes from Disneyland’s past decades.
Without the mesmerizing World of Color nighttime show, no Disneyland celebration would be complete. This spectacular features a dazzling display of fountains, dynamic lighting, colorful lasers, fog, and dramatic flames—all synchronized with Disney melodies. This year, a special surprise awaits guests before the show begins at Pixar Pier in California Adventure: The Muppets, including Kermit, Animal, Fozzy, Miss Piggy, and others, make a grand and joyful appearance, hosted by the Emotions from Pixar’s Inside Out and Inside Out 2. The Paint the Night Electric Parade dazzles audiences with spectacular lights and innovative choreography. The parade features favorite characters such as Ariel, Belle, Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Toy Story cast, Mike and Sulley from Monsters, Inc., Peter Pan, Mickey Mouse in his Sorcerer’s Apprentice look from Fantasia, Lightning McQueen, Tinkerbell, and everyone’s favorite from Frozen. As the parade sweeps through Main Street, U.S.A., the sky lights up with color and character, immersing guests in a magical celebration of Disney stories.
Disney fans also got a sneak peek at an upcoming Disney Junior show, a revamped Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Set to star Mickey, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Goofy, this new series promises even more fun and learning adventures for the youngest Disney enthusiasts.
