ATLANTA, GA — On an episode of BHIGH TV, Hot 107.9 radio host B High interviewed Grammy award nominated producer DJ Toomp on his show. When asked about unreleased material, DJ Toomp revealed that he has approximately five tracks with the late great Nipsy Hussle.
If you skip to the (52:08 mark) of the interview, Toomp explains the process of how he got Nipsey to record.
“I got some records, Nipsey blessed about four or five of my instrumentals,” Toomp said. “It was incredible, super cool, he was in there with Mike N Keys, those are his main producers and it was just great man,” Toomp said on working with Nipsey Hussle.
DJ Toomp revealed on the show that Nipsey’s brother Blacc Sam has the hard drive with the recordings.
“A young business man and entrepreneur, he was on top of his s**t. Just to see a kid at that age to have that vision, he’s great,” DJ Toomp said of the studio experience.
Earlier in the week according to TMZ, Nipsey Hussle’s estate was appraised at approximately $4.1 million value.
DJ Toomp also revealed in the interview with B High that he had unreleased tracks with T.I., Nas, Jay Electronica, and Erykah Badu.
