NEW ORLEANS, LA — NBA legend and The Big 3 head coach Julius “Dr. J” Erving continues to enjoy coaching and leading his players from the sidelines every weekend.
The NBA Hall of Famer and Top 50 player of all time, understands the competitive nature of the league and it’s growth continues to impress the legend. Tri-State finished in a five-way tie in the regular season with a 4-4 record with the 3-Headed Monsters, 3’s Company, Trilogy, and Ghost Ballers.
Erving is always appreciative of how co-Founder Ice Cube has not only been supportive of the coach staffs, but listens to input from many including Erving. He also coached Amar’e Stoudemire to 2019 BIG3 Defensive Player of the Year honor. Nate Robinson also received the 2019 4th Man of the Year honor.
