NEW YORK CITY, NY — ESPN announced that the 2021 ESPY Awards will take place at The Rooftop at Pier 17 at the Seaport in New York City on July 10. The awards show will be hosted by actor extraordinaire Anthony Mackie (The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, 8 Mile, The Banker, Hurt Locker).
“Iâm excited to be hosting this yearâs ESPYS and to celebrate the gift that sports have been this past year,â Mackie said. âThey have allowed us to cheer on our favorite teams and athletes together at a time when many felt so alone. As an avid sports fan myself, I canât wait to meet some of my favorite athletes and celebrate their accomplishments!â
Voting is now open at ESPYS.com and runs through Friday, July 9th at 5PM PT.
