Eyes of Wakanda A New Black Panther Animated Series from Ryan Coogler and Kevin Feige on Disney Plus

LOS ANGELES — Wakanda’s story expands beyond the borders of its hidden nation with the debut of “Eyes of Wakanda,” a new animated action-adventure four episode series. Produced in partnership with Proximity Media’s Zinzi Coogler, Sev Ohanian, and Kalia King, the series explores the exploits of the Hatut Zaraze, brave Wakandan warriors tasked with safeguarding Vibranium artifacts from falling into enemy hands throughout history.

The Hatut Zaraze’s dangerous missions to protect Wakanda are depicted in this worldwide adventure that takes viewers on a journey across time.

“Eyes of Wakanda” showcases the marvelous voice cast, including Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Larry Herron, Adam Gold, Lynn Whitfield, Jacques Colimon, Jona Xiao, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Gary Anthony Williams, Zeke Alton, Steve Toussaint, and Anika Noni Rose, bringing life to the characters and their heroic endeavors.

The series is helmed by director/executive producer Todd Harris, a seasoned storyteller with an impressive resume spanning some of the world’s biggest film franchises, from “John Wick” to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Harris’s connection to the Black Panther universe is robust, having worked closely with director Ryan Coogler as a storyboard artist on “Black Panther” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and as an illustrator on “Sinners” before taking the directorial reins on “Eyes of Wakanda.”

Executive producers for the series include Ryan Coogler, Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt, ensuring a continuation of the quality and vision established within the MCU.
“Eyes of Wakanda” promises to be an exciting addition to the Black Panther mythos, exploring new corners of its rich history and expanding the universe in exciting new ways.
