LOS ANGELES – An emotional day on Monday as the Staples Center hosted a celebration service for the late Kobe and his daughter Gianna Bryant, and later hosted a game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were affected by the loss of Bryant who died tragically in a helicopter crash nearly a month ago. Head coach Doc Rivers was also affected and shared some memories with the media, along with Memphis Grizzlies rookie star Ja Morant on the passing of Bryant on Monday night.
The Clippers were all healthy and destroyed the Grizzlies 124-97, as they snapped their three game losing streak.
Watts own Stix performed the Clippers anthem and other songs at halftime.
