HBO Ballers’ Donovan Carter Enjoying Success

BEL AIR, CA — Actor Donovan Carter has had an amazing July and August, as he continues to ascend to higher heights in the world of television and film. The former UCLA Bruin defensive lineman has elevated on the small screen since the premiere of HBO’s “Ballers” in 2015. Carter kicked off ESPY week with an appearance on the red carpet at the Fuse Pre-ESPY Gifting Suite at a sleek Beverly Hills mansion. Carter along with other star attendees were given gifts that featured items from RYU athletic wear, UNRL, Mixnature, Double Bone, To Whom It May Chocolates, Bioderma, Only International Arrivals, Let it Bee Natural and others.

Carter enjoyed making his rounds as season 2 of “Ballers” premiered a week later, which is one of HBO’s most anticipated shows on the network. Never afraid to take risk, Carter has always been willing to take the next step, and has learned from past disappointments which he turned them into victories in life and for his career. After being cut from the Oakland Raiders in mini-camp a few years ago, a mentor of his introduced Carter to former UCLA quarterback Mark Harmon, who pointed the defensive lineman in the direction of acting.

Each week die hard fans, and new fans can follow the journey of Carter’s character as he navigates his way throughout the world of the being a pro athlete. The success has been so huge that it was announced on July 29th, the series would return for Season 3, which was music to Carter’s ears. As his character on the series grows, so does Carter who is a humble yet a confident young man who will one day have the world inside of his hand.
