NEW YORK CITY, NY – Yesterday, the famous actor Hugh Jackman posted two pictures to his official Instagram story. The first one was a picture of BossLogic’s Wolverine fan-made poster and then he waited a bit until he posted a picture with the head of Marvel Studios himself, Kevin Feige.
It’s uncertain what this means and when you think about it, any of these stars have the power to stir up any sort of buzz by just simply posting a video or image on their story that suggests something whether they intend on following through or not. However, it’s definitely worth noting since rumors have connected Feige and Jackman over the years and since Disney was rumored to be acquiring the X-Men franchise from Fox. As we now know, Disney has done just that and Marvel Studios will be working on bringing the X-Men to the Marvel Cinematic Universe soon.
Jackman played the role of Wolverine for over a decade and had a last goodbye type of film that he starred in with Patrick Stewart called “Logan” that seemed like Jackman had really hung it up. Could he go back on that and start fresh with the Marvel Universe?
At the very least, all of this is worth keeping an eye on since Feige has plenty up his sleeve to try and make this upcoming phase four and phase five of the MCU one that could potentially rival the Infinity Saga.
