CHICAGO, IL – It wasn’t a pretty win, but the Chargers will accept their victory and move on. The Bolt held off a late comeback attempt by the Bears with just seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, as kicker Eddie Pineiro missed a game winning field goal.
Defensive end Joey Bosa had a very impressive afternoon and was key reason for the Bolts victory, as he finished with two sacks and seven tackles on the day.
Bosa became the first Charger since Kevin Burnett in 2010 to post back-to-back games with two-plus sacks. Bosa has 5.5 sacks currently on the season.
The Chargers (3-5) will prepare for the Green Bay Packers who will arrive on Sunday at 1:25PM PT at Dignity Health Sports Park.
