Kyrie Saves Celtics over Sixers

BOSTON, MA — Celtics guard Kyrie Irving knocked down to critical three pointers in overtime that carried Boston to a 121-114 win.

Irving’s dynamics began with he hit the tying shot in the final quarter to force overtime on Tuesday night.His hit his first three pointer with approximately three minutes remaining in overtime that gave Boston a 115-114 lead. Later, Irving would knock down another three pointer that sealed the lead and swung momentum Boston’s way.

Irving finished with 40 points and 10 rebounds, that allowed Boston to remain undefeated this season in overtime.

The Celtics have gone 10-3 over their past 13 games, after starting the season 10-10, Irving has returned to his alpha dominate self. Boston turned the ball over just nine times as opposed to the Sixers, who turned the ball over 19 times.

The highlight for Philly who got burned many times on transition play was Joel Embiid who finished with 34 points and 16 rebounds.

The Celtics travel to Houston on Thursday to face the Rockets at 8PM ET.
