PLAYA VISTA, CA – After spending a day at the Los Angeles Rams practice facility, the 1999 Super Bowl Champion St. Louis Rams better known as the ‘Greatest Show On Turf’ was honored at a dinner at the L.A. Stadium Premiere Center.
The 1999 Rams finished that season with a 13-3 record, clinched an NFC West Division title, as they headed to the Super Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia. The Rams would prevail 23-16 over the Tennessee Titans thanks to strong defense that didn’t allow the Titans a crucial yard.
The team brought the Lombardi Trophy in franchise history.
Many of the players that included Kurt Warner, Issac Bruce, Mike Jones, Fred Miller, and many other discussed old moments, and gave insight on what the experience of being apart of a special team.
The 1999 team was also honored at halftime of Monday’s game between the Rams and Baltimore Ravens at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
*More good news was released as Tory Holt and Issac Bruce were named as semifinalist for the 2020 Hall of Fame Induction.
