LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Rams can breathe a sigh of relief as the team will be at full strength offensively for Sunday’s game against the Broncos in Denver. Wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Brandin Cooks have been cleared from the concussion protocol and will be active for the game.
Cooks never played in the second half last week in Seattle against the Seahawks after he suffered a violent hit late in the second quarter. Several plays later, Kupp’s head bounced off the turf after he caught a pass from quarterback Jared Goff.
Kupp has 30 receptions, and five touchdowns. Cooks has 26 catches, a touchdown thus far this season.
Now that both Cooks and Kupp are cleared, Goff will have his exceptional weaponry at his call on offense against a tough Broncos defense, hostile crowd, and brutal altitude conditions. Oh yeah, the weather will not be in the Rams favor as the temperatures kickoff is expected to be 29 degrees with snow.
The NFC’s only unbeaten team will be put to the test and will they be 6-0 by Sunday night?
Rams kickoff in Denver at 1:05PM PT on FOX, and are seven point favorites in the game.
