Legendary ‘Good Times’ Actress Ja’Net Dubois Dies At 74 (VIDEO)

LOS ANGELES – According to TMZ, former ‘Good Times‘ actress Ja’Net DuBois (known as Willona Woods) on the hit 70’s television series was found dead in her Glendale home on Tuesday. The multi talented Dubois also composed and sang the theme song to the hit television series “The Jeffersons.” Later on in her career she appeared on the WB’s “The Wayans Bros.” as Grandma, and made several guest appearances including 90’s hit FOX series “Martin.”

According to Glendale police it appeared that DuBois had died of natural causes and no investigation of her death will be conducted.

She appeared to be in good health at a recent signing event just a few weeks ago. DuBois also won two Emmy Awards for her voice over work in the FOX series “The PJ’s.”

The actress began her career on Broadway in productions such as “A Raisin In The Sun,” and “Golden Boy.”

DuBois will be missed however her illustrious acting legacy and impact on the culture will live on forever.
