LOS ANGELES — Following a star-studded New York premiere, the Los Angeles exclusive screening of “Sincerely Brad” made a bold and emotional impact at The London West Hollywood. Hosted by LATEX and supported by Adidas Community, the evening offered a thoughtful exploration of identity, sacrifice, and cultural pressure through the eyes and amazing storytelling ability of award-winning director and Grammy-nominated creative Isaac Yowman.
“Sincerely Brad” showcases a biracial couple navigating the complexities of family, legacy, and ambition. As Zoey faces an unexpected pregnancy, her fiancé must choose between embracing fatherhood and seizing a career-defining NASA mission.
The screening drew an intriguing and vibrant audience, including Patrick Walker, Carl Anthony Payne II, Cinthya Carmona, and Veronika Dash. Host, director, and actress Tiaramy led the esteemed screening, followed by a dynamic Q&A session with the cast, moderated by journalist Shelby Stewart. The discussion dove into the film’s core themes of race, identity, and the emotional cost of success.

“This film is just as relevant today as it was when I wrote it in 2021,” Yowman said. “To bring it to L.A. with support from LATEX and Adidas Community is a full-circle moment. These are the kinds of partnerships that truly value diverse voices and help stories like this come to life.”

Following the incredible screening and Q&A, guests were treated to a private VIP mixer, where filmmakers, cast, and select media mingled over cocktails, light bites, and continued discussion sparked by the film’s powerful narrative. The mixer reinforced LATEX’s mission of fostering authentic connections among creatives of color and elevating underrepresented voices in film.
