ANAHEIM, CA —- Friday night is where many attendees will witness the return of the Main Street Electrical Parade and Fireworks spectacular. However, on Wednesday evening several members of the media and surprise guests were treated to a special sneak preview of the return of both events.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Main Street Electrical Parade where many fans were excited and extremely attentive to the festive lights and themes of the parade that included Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy driving the first float. Many of the floats were theme- driven from some of the famous characters that included Snow White and Seven Dwarfs, Peter Pan, It’s A Small World, Alice In Wonderland, Princess Tiana (Princess And The Frog), and the famous Dragon and Lighting bug characters of the parade.
An impactful and incredible “Disneyland Forever” show is something no one wants to miss that features themes from “The Lion King,” “Peter Pan,” “Frozen,” and many other Disney classics. From the snow falling from the dark skies during the “Frozen” portion of the show to the dynamic graphics that line the building along Main Street all for an exciting show from beginning to end.
Toy items from the Main Street Electrical Parade will be available for purchase on Friday along with some specialty food items commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the parade. There are also food items prepared for the return of Disney’s World Of Color show that will be available at Disney California Adventure Park.
These are perfect events right before the summer for all Disneyland and California Adventure guests to enjoy and experience, leaving many wanting to come back for more visits. The Main Street Electrical Parade may not occur daily and showtimes are subject to change.
