LOS ANGELES, CA — Artist and writer Megan Thee Stallion was presented with the 2022 Trailblazer Award at iHeart Radio Music Awards on Tuesday night. The award was given to her by singer/ songwriter Kelly Rowland.
“First of all, girl, thank you Kelly for presenting me with this award because miss ma’am you know you’re a Houston legend, and we love you,” Megan said proudly.
“I want to say with my platform, I will keep on continuing to be a voice for the voiceless, I will keep on fighting for all the injustices that me, my Black women, my Black men are facing, and I will keep showing up and showing out even in the face of adversity,” she said. “I go by the name of Megan Thee Stallion, aka the Hot Girl Coach and if you ain’t know about me, ask your boo about me.”
Megan gave an incredible performance and truly stole the show in true Stallion fashion. She performed “Megan’s Piano” and “Sweetest Pie,” a joint song with Dua Lipa that dropped early March. The song continues to burn up the music charts as Dua Lipa will go on a nationwide tour as Megan will join her for specific city dates.
