LOS ANGELES, CA — A matter of wills that ignited a push and shove matchup between former Laker and current Sixers center Dwight Howard and Lakers Montrezl Harrell during the first half of the game between the two teams in Los Angeles. Despite the two being separated the first time by teammates and officials, thw two found themselves in each other’s midst again.
This time Howard aimed for Harrell bumped into him purposely as Harrell pushed him off of him quickly, and the officials ejected Howard and gave a technical foul to Harrell.
After the Lakers suffered their fourth straight loss 109-101 to the Sixers, Harrell was asked about the details of the incident between the two players.
“I don’t take none of that disrespect, you’re not going to push me all on the court and feel like you’re going to big boy me,” Harrell said. “It don’t fly with me, it’s not in my blood, it’ll never be in my blood.”
Harrell finished with 20 points and eight rebounds, and Kyle Kuzma finished with 20 points along with nine rebounds in the loss.
The Lakers host the Cleveland Cavs on Friday night at Staples Center.
