New L.A. Sparks Ready For 2019 Season (VIDEO)

LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Sparks kicked off their 2019 season with their annual media day at their practice facility at L.A. Southwest College.

Many players were in attendance including new acquired Chiney Ogwumike, NCAA champion and rookie Kaylani Brown, Nneka Ogwumike, Alana Beard, but one player who was unable to make it due to injury was Candace Parker. Parker was recovering from a hamstring injury suffered in a pre-season game.

Many heard from first year head coach Derek Fisher and GM Penny Toiler regarding their vision for the upcoming season.
