MINNEAPOLIS, MN — The NFL continues to make headlines as the league announced that Super Bowl LX will take place at Levi’s Stadium in 2026.
“The Bay Area was an incredible host for Super Bowl 50, and we are thrilled to bring the Super Bowl back,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement. “We look forward to working with the 49ers and the Bay Area Host Committee to create an impactful Super Bowl LX in 2026 that showcases all the great things the region has to offer.”
The week of Super Bowl are loaded with a plethora of great events throughout the week in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. Many will also have the opportunity to participate and experience the NFL Honors, Super Bowl Experience, Super Bowl Opening Night, and a host of community programs.

The last time Levi’s Stadium hosted the Super Bowl was in 2016 for the historic Super Bowl 50 that also featured the incredible halftime performance of Beyonce and Bruno Mars. Super Bowl 50 generated approximately $250 million for the entire Bay Area economy.
