LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles Sparks’ and WNBPA President Nneka Ogwumike took part in a celebration for Nelson Mandela’s 100th birthday celebration with an emphasis on the athlete and the community. The event hosted a plethora of panels that included USA Olympian Allyson Felix, Houston Rockets guard Chris Paul, and Ogwumike to name a few.
The event was sponsored by Laureus Summit and ESPNW and held in Los Angeles.
