Porter Lost Fight But Gained Respect From Spence (VIDEO)

LOS ANGELES – The fight between Errol Spence Jr. and Shawn Porter was an epic fight for the ages, and truly lived up to the hype as each round progressed. After a 12 round decision, Spence walked away with the WBC belt to go along with his IBF title after his win.

The fight was a slug fest, as Porter continued to be the aggressor, Spence made sure to last the distance. However in the 11th round, Spence delivered a blow that brought Porter to one knee. The fight resumed but the crowd was hyped for the remaining and final round.

Spence was taken to a place mentally and physically that he hasn’t seen before. It was hell fire and brimstone as they two brawlers aimed to destroy each other ring in order to prove to be the big fish.

Spence’s power and agility proved to be the determining factor in the victory. The fight was scored pretty tight, 116-111 twice for Spence, and 115-112 for Porter.

Although Porter lost the fight, he gained the respect of not on Spence, but many boxing fans across the globe, and this prove definitely attracted a new interest in the sport of boxing from many who witnessed prodigious between these two gladiators. Porter gave his heart and soul to this fight as Spence’s power and determination will also be remembered in his latest victory.

After the fight Danny “Swift” Garcia entered the ring once Spence lifted up both belts in triumph, making many wonder if Garcia will be his next opponent or will it be WBO Welterweight champion Terence Crawford in a unification bout?

Time will reveal but both possible opponents for Spence could provide more must see television in the ring.
