LOS ANGELES – Compton music artist Problem debuts his new song and video “Janet Freestyle Remix” fresh off the release of his film “A Compton Story”. The film which streamed on Tidal, starred Problem and features Snoop Dogg, Jackie Long, Mike Epps and was later released to other platforms for the fans to view and enjoy.
Problem also pays tribute the late great Nipsey Hussle, as he reflects on the tragic death of the rapper more than a year ago. He also briefly discusses the old beef between himself and artist YG, where Nipsey called a meeting between the two artist to squash the beef. The song is produced by talented producers Mike N’ Keys, who have worked with a variety of artists including Nipsey, Dom Kennedy, Kehlani and many others. Legendary musician and producer Terrance Martin also contributed to the record by playing saxophone and vocoder.
“The director Joshy Gonz found the location where we shot the video,” Problem told Complex Magazine. “He co-directed my new film A Compton Story, so we’ve been working together for a while.“
Problem is now set to release a new project on May 29 “Coffee & Kush Vol. 1” with all new music.
