INGLEWOOD, CA — The Los Angeles Rams opened their regular season in front of the nation on television and their fans for the first time since the opening of SoFi Stadium, defeating the Chicago Bears 34-14.
New Rams quarterback looked absolutely spectacular in his debut as he launched a pass for 53-yards to receiver Van Jefferson that scored the team’s first touchdown of the season. After a pair of field goals, Stafford unleashed another touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp for a 56-yard touchdown catch.
Late in the third quarter, running back Darrell Henderson bulldozed his way into the endzone for a one yard touchdown run.
The Rams owned and controlled majority of the game and showed the nation that this is a team to contend with strongly this season.
