LOS ANGELES – The Rams teamed up with the NFL Play60 to host over 250 kids from the greater Los Angeles area for a day filled with fun, drills and football play. The event was hosted by former Rams tackle and NFL Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz, along with help from current Rams players in wide receiver Mike Thomas and defensive tackle Sebastian Joesph-Day.

The kids were shown drills and were told about the importance of being in great health by playing more outside than playing video games with no physical activity.

Being part of the Rams and the NFL Play 60 Character Camp today is a lot of fun to me, ” Thomas said. “To be able to give back to these kids is a blessing to me.”

Every kid in the respected group were taught several drills including, throwing and catching a football, spin moves, catch and the importance of team work and good sportsmanship. As each group of kids rotated drills, the smiles on their faces as they received their complimentary drill t-shirts and listening to Rams players up close was indeed priceless.
