THOUSAND OAKS, CA — Los Angeles Rams rookie Bobby Brown III has a unique and outgoing personality that is clear he is focused on football but also having fun throughout the journey of life.
Brown is looking to make his presence felt on this team with a defensive line that includes A’Shawn Robinson, Sebastian Joseph-Day and three-time NFL DOPY Aaron Donald. As Brown continues to learn the playbook and get acclimated to his new surrounds and the NFL life, and making the transition from his collegiate career.
“To be honest with myself…. I feel like I haven’t completely made the transition,” Brown said during a Friday video conference. “I feel like I’m still learning and it’s a lot for me to learn and I think even if I was a 10 year veteran it would be a lot for me to learn. These weeks have shown me I’m not a premiere defensive lineman no more, I have to learn all over again. Be just as humble as I was my freshman year (in college).“
Brown is not alone and has developed quite the friendship with fellow rookie cornerback Robert Rochell who began knowing each other working out at the same training facility.
“That’s a funny guy, man, a guy that can make you laugh all day,” Rochell said during a video conference on Friday. “Big character, a guy that loves this game just as much me.”
In addition to that Brown has a special skill for not only attention to detail but writing as a young child.
“I use to write a lot with my mom and it came from when I was writing. I would pay close attention to detail when I was writing and also playing basketball. My mom would harp on the little things and she would say that something little would become something big.“
Brown also said he enjoyed reading and writing about Mythology.
He is destine to be somebody special especially in this defense with a team led by Donald and Jalen Ramsey.
