LAS VEGAS, NV – The 64th Annual Grammy Awards took Las Vegas by storm as some of music’s most eclectic and talented superstars came together to deliver a night full of genre-spanning performances and to see which of their fellow artists would come out on top.

Broadcasting live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Trevor Noah returned as the host for the second year in a row and kept things lighthearted and fun as he navigated the night’s festivities.

Kicking off the night, Silk Sonic lit up the stage with an electric performance of their Sin City-themed track “777.”

The R&B duo’s song “Leave the Door Open” won three Grammys including, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best R&B Performance, with the latter tying with Jazmine Sullivan’s “Pick Up Your Feelings.”

Sullivan would also go on to win the award for Best R&B Album for her 2021 album Heaux Tales.

Presenters throughout the evening included: Megan Thee Stallion, Dua Lipa, Lenny Kravitz, Jared Leto, Joni Mitchell, Billy Porter, Questlove, Ludacris, Keith Urban, Bonnie Raitt, and more.

Olivia Rodrigo, who won three awards including Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album, made her long-awaited Grammys debut as she took the stage to perform her record-breaking song “Driver’s License.”

Lil Nas X also commanded the stage as he performed a medley of his songs including “Dead Right Now” and “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).” He was then joined by fellow rapper Jack Harlow, as the two came together to perform their hit collaboration “Industry Baby.”

Legendary rapper Nas delivered a show-stopping performance that featured a career-spanning medley of hits including “I Can,” “Made You Look,” “One Mic,” and “Rare,” which was a featured track on his Grammy-nominated 2021 album King’s Disease II.

Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar won the Grammy for Best Rap Performance for their song “Family Ties.” The two beat out fellow nominees Cardi B, Drake, J. Cole, and Megan Thee Stallion.

“Nothing could prepare me for this moment tonight,” Keem said as he accepted his award. “I just wanna say thank you to my support system, the city of Las Vegas, my family, the women that raised me, to shape me, to become the man I am today.”

In a moving performance dedicated to Ukraine, John Legend performed his new song “Free,” alongside Ukrainian artists Siuzanna Iglidan, Mika Newton, and Lyuba Yakimchuk.

Lady Gaga also honored iconic jazz crooner Tony Bennett with a stunning performance of the pair’s song “Love For Sale.” The two ultimately won the Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. With this win, the 95-year-old singer became the second-oldest winner of a Grammy Award.

Doja Cat and SZA each picked up their first Grammys, as the two won the award for Best Pop Duo/ Group Performance.

In addition, the now five-time Grammy award winner H.E.R., who was accompanied by fellow musical heavyweights Travis Barker, Lenny Kravitz, and Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, delivered an all-star performance of her song “Damage” and Kravitz’s 1993 classic “Are You Gonna Go My Way.”

Other incredible performers throughout the night included: Billie Eilish, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, J Balvin, Maria Becerra, Justin Bieber, Daniel Caesar, Giveon, BTS, Brandi Carlisle, and Jon Batiste.

Batiste, who earned an astonishing 11 Grammy nominations and nabbed four earlier in the evening, took home the night’s final award as he won Album of the Year.

“I believe this to my core, there is no best musician, best artist, best dancer, best actor. The creative arts are subjective and they reach people at a point in their lives when they need it most,” Batiste said during his acceptance speech. “It’s like a song or an album is made, and it almost has a radar to find the person when they need it the most.”

Country duo Brothers Osborne, who also won their first Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, closed out the show with a performance of their song “Dead Man’s Curve.”
