LOS ANGELES – With the effective of COVID-19 still amongst us in society, the 2020 ESPYs became a must watch viral event on Sunday night. One of the impactful events of the show came with a tribute to the late great icon Kobe Bryant in a video narrated by music legend Snoop Dogg.
Bryant along with his daughter Gianna and seven other passengers were killed in a early morning helicopter crash outside of Los Angeles.
Former Lakers teammate and friend Pau Gasol also shared his words for Bryant in a heartfelt video tribute.
The ESPYs were hosted by Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, USWNT Megan Rapinoe, and Seattle Storm’s Sue Bird.
