COLUMBIA, SC — South Carolina edge rusher Dylan Stewart and defensive back Jalon Kilgore have been named to the prestigious 42-player watch list for the 2025 Lott IMPACT® Trophy award.
Sophomore Dylan Stewart burst onto the scene in 2024, earning Freshman All-SEC and All-America honors. He was also a finalist for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year award. Stewart’s impressive freshman campaign included 10.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries, solidifying his position as a disruptive force on the Gamecock defense.
Jalon Kilgore has been a key contributor to the South Carolina defense since his freshman season in 2023, when he also earned Freshman All-SEC and All-American accolades. Last season, the two-year starter tied for the SEC lead with five interceptions. Over his two years in Columbia, Kilgore has recorded 124 tackles, six interceptions, and 11 pass breakups, primarily playing the Nickel position.
Both Stewart and Kilgore on the Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List highlight the strength and leadership within the South Carolina defense under defensive coordinator Clayton White.
