LOS ANGELES, CA – The Los Angeles Sparks’ season home opener at Crypto.com Arena was a star-studded event featuring hoops legends like Lisa Leslie, Magic Johnson, Carmelo Anthony, and Baron Davis. However, the Sparks didn’t capitalize on the energy in the building and suffered their third loss in a row dropping a heartbreaker to their longtime rival Minnesota Lynx 87-84 on Tuesday night.

The Sparks (2-3) have struggled these last three games, often failing to either start or finish games strong. Although the team came out hot early in the first quarter, they fell flat and were once again playing catch up.
