T.I. Blasts 50 Cent on ‘Million Dollaz Worth of Game’: “I Don’t Respect Him”

ATLANTA, GA — One Verzuz that hip hop fans have fantasized about for years just got its unofficial death certificate — straight from T.I. himself.

During a recent episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game with hosts Gillie and Wallo, rapper and actor Tip “T.I.” Harris made it clear he’s done extending grace to Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, revealing that after their behind-the-scenes fallout, he no longer has any respect for the Queens mogul.

According to T.I., the tension traces back to a Verzuz battle the two allegedly agreed to do a couple of years ago — something he says wasn’t clout-chasing, but a mutual understanding that went left.

Okay, so first, like, you know, it was really about celebrating each other’s catalog,” T.I. explained. “Me and that n***a talked back then, bro. I ain’t just called him out of the blue.”

He says the agreement came while both were in Los Angeles, moving in similar circles and shopping for television projects.

We talked about this shit, man. This just doesn’t come out of nowhere,” T.I. continued. “We were moving around in L.A., man, selling some TV shows while we were around each other, man, you know what I mean? I said, shit, what do you think about this? He was like, ‘You want to do that shit?’ I said, yeah! He was like, ‘All right, cool.'”

From there, T.I. claims they even mapped out how to roll out the Verzuz publicly.

I told him, I said, well, I’m going to jump out there first, and then you’re just going to jump out there, and we’ll line it up. And he said, ‘All right.’ And when I jump out there, the n***a act like he didn’t know what the f**k was going on!

As he revisited the moment on the podcast, Tip’s irritation grew more visible — and more vocal. For him, it wasn’t just business; it was about character.

Oh, you playing? Okay, you gonna play. All right, cool,” he said, shaking his head at the memory. “I don’t even want to, because now I question your character. Any n***a gonna go out there and kick that kind of shit, then, you know, man. Then just say you don’t want to do it. All the other extra lame ass shit, man.

Gillie and Wallo, echoing the wishes of a large chunk of the culture, emphasized how monumental a T.I. vs. 50 Cent Verzuz would be — two hit-heavy catalogs, two dominant eras, two polarizing personalities. But Tip shot down the idea instantly and emphatically.

That sh*t ain’t going to happen! That shit ain’t going to happen, man,” he said. “I don’t want to stand on stage with him. I had no interest in standing on stage with that n***a. I don’t respect him!”

The raw clip, unsurprisingly, went viral — and straight into 50 Cent’s algorithm. True to form, 50 didn’t respond with a lengthy explanation, but with a troll. He posted a photo of T.I.’s wife, Tiny Harris, along with a pointed caption: “I kept saying keep my name out ya mouth, but okay!”

The post poured gasoline on an already flaming discourse, with fans dissecting who was right, who was wrong, and whether the line between rap gamesmanship and real-life disrespect had been crossed.

While social media continues to debate the fallout, T.I. is leaning into what he says is the final chapter of his recording career. The rapper and actor is currently working on his last album, Kill The King, positioning it as a closing statement from one of the South’s most influential voices. His current single, “Let Em Know,” is already making noise across radio, streaming platforms, and charts, adding musical momentum to the headlines his comments have stirred up.

For now, though, one thing sounds settled: a T.I. vs. 50 Cent Verzuz — once a dream matchup for hip hop fans — is off the table.

“That sh*t ain’t going to happen,” T.I. repeated. And judging by his tone, he meant every word.

Apparently, T.I. also saw the response post by 50 Cent and sent out his own warning response via his Instagram, “Oh you n***as want WAR?! Aight…WE ON THAT!!!”
