On this week’s episode of The Outlet Forum, Chaez Pearson and Chris Camello discussed the disappointing season the Los Angeles Lakers had.

Camello and Pearson also talked about the team’s exit interviews and what the biggest takeaways were.

ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski caused a cosmic uproar in the NBA and journalistic worlds when he dropped a ‘Woj bomb’ tweet immediately after the Lakers’ final game of the season which stated head coach Frank Vogel would be let go as soon as Monday. Was there a lack of journalistic integrity with releasing it before the coach himself even knew? Why did the front office do Vogel so dirty like that?

Another topic of discussion was the Lakers’ culture and the various ways they can improve it.

The guys dove into Russell Westbrook’s exit interview which seemed to throw the Lakers under the bus and provide us with a few head scratching words.

Nitecast Media’s chief content creator Nick Hamilton joined the guys to discuss the state of the Lakers and topics that ranged from how to fix their culture to whether or not they should extend LeBron James.

Other NBA talk included the current Play-In tournament going on. The Brooklyn Nets beat the Cleveland Cavaliers to clinch the 7th seed to face the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs. The rest of the Play-In games will continue this week with the playoffs approaching soon after.
