On this week’s episode of The Outlet Forum, Chaez Pearson and Chris Camello discussed the NBA playoffs.

The guys began the episode talking about the Brooklyn Nets and Kevin Durant clapping back at Charles Barkley after his “bus rider” comments on a recent “Inside The NBA” episode after the Nets were swept by the Boston Celtics. He basically called KD a bus rider, because he’s not driving the bus in Brooklyn. Durant posted a few Instagram posts with Barkley and some of his former All-Star teammates in Philadelphia and Houston, throwing shade at the Hall of Famer.

Camello called the team the Brooklyn “Passive Aggressives” and Pearson believes Durant deserves the least amount of blame for the Nets’ failures this season.

Camello and Pearson talked about Ben Simmons, and all his struggles to get on the court this season and the criticism Simmons received for not playing at all in this series. They also have a conversation about mental health.

The guys discussed Sixers guard James Harden, and the fact that Father Time seems to be catching up to him in real time during the series against the Toronto Raptors.

Could Doc Rivers be the first coach to blow a 3-0 series lead? Camello even did an impersonation of the Sixers head coach!

They also talked about the NBA playoffs and how outstanding they have been, and of course the incredible dunk Ja Morant had on Malik Beasley.

Did Ja Morant deserve to win Most Improved Player of the Year? Pearson thinks it should’ve gone to Jordan Poole who had a breakout year and has been dubbed a third “Splash Brother.”

Pearson and Camello talk about Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz. How long does he really want to stay there? Are the Jazz ever going to be actual contenders? Could the Jazz move on from Rudy Gobert and/or Mitchell? There are a lot of questions moving forward for that organization.

The Miami Heat proved Pearson wrong and they are indeed contenders.
