On this week’s episode of The Outlet Forum, Chaez Pearson and Chris Camello continued discussing the NBA playoffs among other things, including the latest surrounding the Los Angeles Lakers.
The guys started by talking about Game 5 of the 76ers/Heat series. Joel Embiid did not have a good game, and the Heat had seven players in double figures.
Pearson and Camello also talked about Ja Morant’s knee injury, which was revealed to be a bone bruise. Can the Grizzlies still make it a series or is it officially over? Who could be the closer for the Grizzlies now with Morant being out for the rest of the playoffs?
They also talked about the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks series. Camello thinks this series could go to seven games.
While this podcast was being recorded, Game 5 of the Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns series was going on. The guys discuss the possibility of the Mavericks pulling off the upset win. Camello thinks for the Mavs it is about balance between their whole squad to support Luka Doncic in order to pull off a series win and for the Suns, its CP3 dominating.
Nitecast Media’s Nick Hamilton joins the guys to discuss Bill Plaschke’s Los Angeles Times exclusive interview with Jeanie Buss. She discussed everything that went wrong among with the Lakers season and other questions and issues that both fans and media have had.
