On this week’s episode of The Outlet Forum, Chaez Pearson and Chris Camello discuss the NBA Finals, new Lakers head coach Darvin Ham, possible NBA trades, Quin Snyder leaving the Utah Jazz, and if the NBA should shorter regular seasons and All-NBA voting methods.
The guys discussed Lakers head coach Darvin Ham’s introductory press conference.
“That’s how you talk as a Lakers coach,” Pearson said.
They then talked about the NBA Finals and the Golden State Warriors tying up the series 1-1.
“If Golden State can defend the way they did in Game 2, they definitely have the leg up,” Camello said. Game 3 is going to be in Boston and Camello mentioned the fact that the Boston Celtics seem to be struggling in their home games.
“Klay Thompson just doesn’t seem comfortable,” Pearson said. Thompson has been struggling to find his shot and be consistent offensively through the first two games of this series.

Utah Jazz head coach Quin Snyder parted ways with the team. Could this lead to the break up of the Jazz core?
“I think that Spida is not going anywhere,” Pearson said. He thinks that Rudy Gobert could be the one that is on the market.
The guys also discussed Deandre Ayton’s situation and the fact that it’s more than likely he’s not coming back to the Phoenix Suns. Camello said there will be many potential suitors for Ayton should he and the Suns not reach an agreement for a new contract.
Camello and Pearson talked about All NBA selections and if the voting process should be changed. Also, should the NBA shorten the season?
