On this week’s episode of The Outlet Forum, Chaez Pearson and Chris Camello discussed a range of topics which included the NBA finals as well as the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Warriors won the NBA championship against the Boston Celtics, crushing the hopes and dreams of the green hanging banner number 18.

A lot of the Warriors’ success this season and during the playoffs should be attributed to the play of role players like Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, Gary Payton II, Juan Toscano Anderson, and more.

Brooklyn Nets All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving and the team are at an impasse with contract negotiations. Could the New York Knicks or Lakers somehow get Irving? It seems more likely that the impasse is more of a leverage move for Irving and his camp to get more money.

Seattle Storm superstar Breanna Stewart tweeted that if she is selected to be a WNBA All-Star this year, she wants to wear number 42 in honor of Phoenix Mercury star Brittney Griner, who has been wrongfully detained in Russia for over 120 days. The league should definitely get behind this idea of wearing 42 to honor her.

Lakers coach Darvin Ham has been putting together his coaching staff recently adding Chris Jent, Jordan Ott and Schuyler Rimmer.

Camello and Pearson also discussed potential moves the Lakers can and should make in the off-season during free agency.
